A Summer Roadtrip Fueled by Coffee, Good Vibes, and SALTT!

SALTT employee Michelle recently embarked on a 10 day road trip adventure to Skate Like A Girl camp, supporting a group of fabulous skaters and keeping them hydrated with SALTT! From early morning starts to late-night campfire connections, Michelle’s roadtrip to camp was filled with incredible experiences, scenic stops, and plenty of new friends.

SALTT x Skate Like A Girl
We (Michelle and friend Kam) got an early start, caffeine in hand (which didn’t last long enough to get a picture…priorities, right?). Around 4pm, we made it to Truckee outside Tahoe. The first order of business? Food! Pizza and beer were calling our names.
After dinner, we set up our rooftop tent at a great camping spot for the night.
The next morning, we glanced across the reservoir and were treated to the magical sight of five hot air balloons filling the morning sky.
At South Lake Tahoe, we found the perfect spot to set up our chairs and spent the day reading and soaking up the laid-back atmosphere with our emotional support water bottle (and plenty of SALTT, of course).
Emotional support water bottle. Ice cream shop stop for the biggest ice creams we’ve ever had!
Chili's for dinner, don't judge!
Finally made it to Skate Like a Girl Camp, here’s me testing out our new living room for the next 6 days!
This place was like something straight out of The Parent Trap movie!

Big shoutout to Skate Like A Girl and the YMCA Skate staff for putting on such a magical and special experience where women, trans, and non-binary folks were able to come, meet new people and do things they thought were impossible.

Skate Like A Girl is a 501(c)3 non profit organization with a mission to create an inclusive community by promoting confidence, leadership, and social justice through skateboarding.
