Stay Ready For the Next Wave.
Every run takes something out of you until you find yourself watching the waves instead of riding them. That’s dehydration setting in—your body losing the electrolytes that keep you energized, sharp, and ready for the next run.
SALTT has you covered.
How It Works:
8 Surf Hydration Tips:

#1
You sweat in water.
Surfing burns energy. And yes, that means you sweat. Even in the ocean.

#2
Wetsuits make you sweat more.
Wetsuits are designed to trap heat! That means greater fluid loss while you’re riding the waves.

#3
Don't wait until you're thirsty.
By the time you’re thirsty, you’re already dehydrated. Make sure to drink up before that hits!

#4
Water alone isn't enough.
Staying hydrated isn’t about chugging water. You also need to replace the electrolytes you lose every day through sweat, exertion, and daily activities.

#5
Even being “a little dehydrated” affects your surf day.
It can reduce endurance, focus, and reaction time.

#6
Sun and wind speed up fluid loss.
Ocean and weather conditions increase your hydration needs.

#7
Long sessions need more fluids.
The longer you surf, the more important it is to replace the electrolytes you’ve lost throughout the day.

#8
Hydration will help reduce cramping.
Electrolytes are key to muscle function and recovery. Magnesium in particular helps prevent cramps.

FAQs
What are electrolytes, and why do I need them if I'm not an athlete?
Electrolytes are specific minerals (such as sodium, potassium, and magnesium) that help conduct electrical charges all over your body. That’s why low electrolytes can cause muscle cramps, and even serious heart problems! They also play a crucial role in delivering hydration and other nutrients to your cells. That’s why, even if you’re drinking plenty of water, you can still feel dehydrated and sluggish if you're missing key electrolytes.
Recent research is showing that we need far more electrolytes than we’ve been told. And the benefits of balanced electrolytes are not limited just to extreme sports enthusiasts and marathon runners. The growing list of those benefits includes improved mood, energy, mental clarity, muscle health (especially relief from muscle cramps!), and more.
How many servings should I have every day?
1-2 servings per day is a good place to start, but some users will prefer more for optimal health and performance.
What sweeteners do you use?
Our flavored electrolytes use Stevia. Our unflavored electrolytes (such as the drops and capsules) contain no sweetener.

What does "Natural Flavors" mean?
When you see “Natural Flavors” on the ingredient list, it just means it comes from something found in nature and not from a lab. That’s all. The exact recipe is held by the company that makes the flavoring we use, but they have confirmed that there is no maltodextrin or sugar in what we use for SALTT—something that is untrue for many competitor products. We have always and will continue to prioritize quality ingredients that support human health, and that make for a better and tastier result! If you have concerns about the content of our Natural Flavors due to allergies, please feel free to reach out to us and we will work with the manufacturer to get you the information that you need!
Is SALTT Powder Drink Mix Kosher?
Yes, all the flavors are certified Kosher Parve (non-dairy) by The Scroll K/Vaad Hakashrus of Denver.
